Boyne witness

WHAT is supposed to be an account of the Battle of the Boyne, written on parchment by the Rev. John Richardson a Protestant clergyman who lived in Co. Cavan, has come into possession of Mr. John Hales, Donaghadee Road, Bangor.

The parchment, which also bears a plan of the battlefield, together with an explanation, was discovered by Mr. Hales when carrying out his duties as executor of the will of his aunt, Mrs. Margaret Richards, of Ivy Cottage, Belturbet.
