Death of Mrs McKeown
DEATH has removed another very old citizen of Drogheda in the person of Mrs Elizabeth McKeown, of James’ Street Drogheda, who passed away on Saturday last, at her residence.
The decased lady had attained an advanced age, being 84 years old, and her death, while not altogether unexpected, caused great regret to her immediate relatives and her many neighbours and friends. Mother of Mr. Denis McKeown, the well-known dairyman of Bryanstown, and of James McKeown, carpenter, and Mr. Thomas McKeown, the deceased is also survived by one daughter. Miss Mary McKeown, who helped her in the management of their shop in James’ Street.
