GOLF; JOE RYAN DOUBLES UP

Competitio­ns for turkey and ham are mainly over nine holes on the run up to Christmas. On Saturday November 18th the prize winners over course A were Martin Reynolds 30.5, Joe Ryan 31.5, Pat Rooney 31.5 and Owen Kenny, yes Owen Kenny (not a word of a lie) 32. On the same date on course B Kieran Monaghan led the prize winners with a score of 32.5. Bertie Hetheringt­on was runner up also on 32.5 and Joe Ryan also got the bird or ham with 33.5. This was a brilliant achievemen­t by Joe having already picked up a prize on both nines on the same day. Well done sir.

Prize winners on the Sunday 19th (Course A) were Mark Cummins 29.5, Fraser Boyd 31.5, Raymond Lawless 31.5, Declan McMahon 31.5, Michael McAlarney 32.

Course B winners were Les Fields 34.5, Calum O’Byrne 34.5, Conor Breheney 34.5, Raphael Smyth 34.5 and Ciaran Doyle 35. Also, congrats

CHRISTMAS FAIR

City North Hotel & Conference Centre will hold a Christmas Fair on Sunday 17th of December from 2 to 6 pm. There will be mulled wine and mince pies, artisan foods, lots of craft stands with lovely stocking filler ideas and carol singing. Admission is free so why not come along and enjoy the day..
