Bord Failte will be live streaming for the Winter Solstice

THIS is the 50th anniversary of the first discovery of the phenomenon at Newgrange (pictured) and the celebration of the shaft of light to mark the Winter Solstice and to coincide with that Fáilte Ireland will be live streaming the actual event on December 21st.

For the first time ever this phenomenon is being opened up to a national and international audience - no matter where you are in Ireland or the world you will be able to experience the magic of this event through the live steam.

There will be lots of people gathered outside Newgrange including the Irish Wolfhounds association, The Pagans, Historians and Newgrange experts.
