Speed signs concrete hazard

COUNCILLOR Pio Smith said there are speed signs outside the Monoasterboice Inn with two blocks of concrete around them. ‘Anyone in a wheelchair would have to go out on the main road to get round them,’ he said. Senior Engineer Martina Sheeran said she would have a look at the situation at the Monasterboice Inn and see what the councillor was talking about. ‘Certainly if there’s something we can do to improve access I will,’ she said.
