The genius of Roger Hudson as Santa gets Rudolf to put the hoof in!

ROGER Hudson is certainly catching the eye these days. The Drogheda man’s colourful photomontages are to go on show shortly.

This time it is his cynical view of modern marriage and office life - The Subtle Power Politics of Everyday Life - has won a place in the Winter Open exhibition at the Rua Red Art Gallery in Tallaght, Dublin, which opens on Thursday 14th December and runs till 20th. January.

Meanwhile his attack on consumerism - Consumer City - displayed as a giant poster on a hoarding in Belfast, has been destroyed by a storm!

‘Or maybe Santy took exception and sent Rudolf down to put the hoof in. A sad end,’ Roger said this week. ‘It’s not the end for the original as it is safe and we have just learnt it is to be acquired by the Irish National Art Collection. Now there’s an honour!’
