Surely there’s a better repair job than this on way for Jim Garry Way

FOR some months now, the cobbles that make up the route of the old town wall through Jim Garry Way have been loose.

Recently, part of the section just broke up completely and became a danger more than anything.

I knew the stones would have to be replaced and hoped a nice job could be done.

But instead, we got a quick tramac job and the loose stones were thrown to the side.

I know Jim Garry Way is now a busy route, but could the road not be just closed for say two hours at some stage and the proper repairs carried out.

Surely it won’t be left like this?
