Barney O’Brien stars in Sean O’Carroll’s win
SEAN O’Carroll’s skated to another very easy victory in the Second Div. Championship, at Ardee on Sunday, when they defeated St. Brides by 8-8 to nil. In a back division that had a comparatively easy afternoon, Louis Martin (former Hunterstown Rovers’ player), Eamonn Keenan and Patsy Tierney were dominant figures, while in attack, Barney O’Brien, J McGivern and J. Crawley shared the scores.
O’Brien managed 2-3 of the total with Muldoon, Rogers T. Matthews and Eugene McCoy also on target.
