Megan’s very personal Christmas present

- By HUBERT MURPHY

MEGAN Smyth has given some other girls an early Christmas present - her lovely long locks.

The Drogheda girl got her hair cut last week for two charities ‘Hannah the warrior princess’ and the Rapunzel foundation.

She is still getting donations for her effort and will present the funds raised to the Hannah team early next year.

Her hair has been sent to help make wigs for kids with alapecia and having treatment for cancer.

Her hair was cut in the Secret Hair salon by Edel Kavanagh in Termonfeckin who is a registered hairdresser for the Rapunzel foundation.

Most of the donations were collected in Grace’s Place, the cafe in Duleek which is run by her aunt Grace Collier.

Megan was delighted with the support her venture received and she should have a final sum raised shortly.
