A Christmas Wish

- Bridie Maxwell.

AS Christmas approached, the weather takes an arctic bite, the bitter chill has us hurry and scurry for indoor warmth, but what if you are homeless.

O Lord, how can anyone live outside, please come in out of the cold and use a shelter.

You may think that no-one cares but this is not true, no matter how you have found yourself in this terrible predicament.

We as a people want you safe and warm, if a shelter is offered for God’s sake take it in the grace it was given.

If you have had a family row, put your pride in your pocket and take the first step to go mend bridges.

Christmas is about forgiveness and love, don’t be afraid to ask for help, we are all on this earth to help each other. God bless and please c0me it out of the cold.

Give, give to the homeless.

As the birth of Jesis nears, light a candle in your hearts to help dry up our worlds sad tears.

Let there be peace on earth, will be our forever prayer.
