The 134 page journal is a must for those interested in Drogheda’s heritage,
It features a number of great articles, from John McCullen on Drogheda’s 11th Annual Show to Maura Mullen’s article “The Turning of the Tide; Ireland in 1898” looking at events which were to make the 1916 Rising inevitable.
Brendan Matthews has two interesting articles, one recalls the late Philip Joseph Cahill,the teacher in Stamullen National School and one an appreciation of the recently retired Margaret Clinton. Nick Reilly’s also has an article - “Ancient Munificence- The Charities of the Corporation of Drogheda, The Poor of St John and St Stephen”
