Annual Chernobyl swim at Clogherhead

THE annual St. Stephen’s Day Swim is on as usual on the 26th December at 12 noon.

It is in aid of Chernobyl and all monies raised will go to that charity.

If you would like to take part or even fundraise on behalf of someone else you can get sponsorship cards from Padraig Rath 087 6784912 / Isobel San Roma 087 1301398. They can guide you through the process and willing volunteers and dippers are always welcome.

The location as ever is Clogherhead beach and those taking part will be hopeful of kind weather conditions for the occasion.

The event has become the focal point of Christmas for many.
