State-of-the-art new paging system for Boyne Fishermen

-

THE Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service (BFRRS) are benefiting from the latest in cutting edge technology thanks to their new paging system.

The new system comes courtesy of Dunboyne-based EMR Integrated Solutions.

The company has just announced the deployment of the new state-of-the-art voice-activated paging system for the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service, which will help them continue to provide life saving support in the local community.

Based on Swissphone paging technology, the high-performance, robust communication system triggers a combination of tone and voice paging to over 30 volunteers of the search and rescue organisation, streamlining communications amongst the team and saving valuable time in responding to emergency calls.

The BFRRS is a voluntary organisation that depends on donations from the public to run the service. Christmas and the New Year is a particularly busy time of the year for the rescue crews.

The rescue service provides a dedicated rescue and recovery service in Clogherhead, Laytown, Bettystown, Drogheda, Dundalk and inland waterways at Navan as well as assisting in searches throughout the country when necessary.
