LOCAL WEDDING

Love was in the air on Saturday 9th December when my wonderful nephew Dominic Maguire Glenmore married the beautiful Emma Brennan from Ravensdale. Following a lovely ceremony celebrated by Fr. Bill Mulvihill in St. Brigid’s Church Kilcurry. The music by Niamh, Darren and Brian was beautiful and made the occasion very special. The bridal party and guests travelled to the Ballymacscallon Hotel where a wonderful reception followed with the guests who were delighted to share the happiness and joy with the newly-weds.

Helping the radiant bride were her beautiful bridesmaids Cathy Brennan, Ashleigh Brennan and Amy Mc Guinness. The handsome groom was assisted by Best Man Ciaran Maguire, Groomsmen Kevin Conway and Darren Reid who were all looking very dapper. Also helping out greatly on this special day was Pageboy Elliot Clarke and Flower-girl Sarah Brennan.

Emma is a daughter of Terrence and Christine Brennan and Dominic is the oldest son of Seamus and Brid Maguire. We wish the happy couple a life of good health, happiness, good fortune and lots of laughter together.

SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy is sent to the Skelly Family on the recent death of Lily Skelly Rathbran. Lily was a lady who always had time for everyone. Her hospitality skills were talked about near and far. Michelin star restaurants weren’t even close! Her kindest and warmth touched many a heart. This was very evident from the large numbers that attended her funeral. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
