Fears over draw down

Louth County Council will not lose out on any funding available under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme, despite full entitlements not having yet been drawn down.

Cllr. Emma Coffey listed a number of areas under the funding stream where the local authority had not yet used its entitlement.

Senior Executive Officer John Lawrence said that some projects had been announced later than expected. The council had applied for an extension for applications which had been granted.

He said he was confident no funds would be lost.
