Gardai and No Name club combine
DROGHEDA gardai hosted the 20th senior citizens party in the Thatch before Christmas with hosts and hostesses from the No Name Club coming along to help on the day.
Superintendent Andrew Watters welcomed all the invited guests and the young people from the No Name Club to the event on behalf of the Community Policing Unit and the Juvenile Liaison Office.
Hannah from the No Name entertained the guests her beautiful singing and this was followed by some of the guests singing and getting the crowd in a festive mood.
Garda Anita O’Shea, Juvenile Liaison Officer would like to thank the members from the No Name Club for giving their time to help out the Garda Senior Citizens Party on the day.
“They are a fantastic bunch of young people who really got into the spirt of the event and they brought such energy and fun to the afternoon. They were a wonderful addition to the party and are great ambassadors for the club,’ she stated.
