Sharon doing her bit for Duleek

NO better advocate for Duleek than Sharon Keogan and the local councillor intends going in to bat for the area when it comes to the boundary commission changes.

She told a local council meeting in Duleek that a submission should be made to ‘unite’ the village.

At present, part of the area is in the Ashbourne district and she thinks this is a crazy situation. But Duleek is not the only issue that councillors are looking at.

Cllr Paddy Meade has made a case for Bellewstown and Ardcath to be included in the district and the fact that Gormanston is also not included in the ‘coastal’ area is another strange element of the present system.

I wonder will they get their way?
