Please remember to lock all doors and windows when going shopping and set the house alarm. With Christmas just over, any presents may prove an attractive invitation for an opportunist thief. Please call and check on elderly and immobile neighbours. Contact 086- 2747474 to report any suspicious activity. If you would like to join up to BALSANTER, application forms are available in Maddens Centra, Mc Grane’s XL and both Parish Churches.

Members took part in a 4Ball Vpar competition over the weekend. The Winter League entry sheet is on the notice board. Please get your teams up as soon as possible as it starts on January 19th 2018. The Seapoint’s AGM takes place on Monday January 15th 2018.
TERMONFECKIN MACRA
Termonfeckin Macra Na Feirme has received a funding boost. The Branch will receive €4,217 under a Scheme which seeks to support the work of volunteers, enhance member expectations and provide equipment to help deliver aims and objectives. The Scheme is administered through the Louth Meath Education and Training Board.
ERIN’S RUN
This is now the time to prepare for what has now become an annual event. Erin’s Run takes place on Sunday February 11th, starting and finishing at An-Grianan. This is the fourth year of the 5k Run which is in memory of Erin Curran who passed away in September 2014 due to a rare neurological disorder she was born with. Registrations are now open and the cost of participation is €15 per adult and €35 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children under 16. The first 400 entrants will receive a t-shirt. This year, proceeds are in aid of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
ADORATION
Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Why not come and spend some quiet time in the presence of the Lord.
