DUNLEER GOLF SOCIETY

Did you store your “golf clubs” in the shed or the attic? Why not get them out and consider approaching the Dunleer Golf Society for Membership for 2018?

The Society is one of the largest in the North East with some fifty members. The Season starts on the 10th of March with a visit to Seapoint Golf Course. During the year the Society will also visit Dundalk, Concrawood, Killeen Castle, Laytown/Betty’s Town and an away outing in September to Bunclody. CYCLING

Cycling enthusiast in the Slane area were delighted to meet up with their good friend and Cycling colleague Benny Grogan who officially started the Cycle 4 Cairde spin on St Stephens Day. Benny who comes from the Dunleer area recently received a Volunteer Ireland award for his great cycling activities for blind and visually impaired people. He also supports the ARC cycles events in the area every year.

The Cycle 4 Cairde raised over €2000 and thanks goes to all involved in this annual event.

ST KEVIN’S LOTTO

January 4th. No jackpot winner. Drawn numbers were; 1, 4, 19 and 29. The weekly €50 winners were Conor Rogers and Paula Johnson. Next weeks jackpot is €8800.

SLIMMING WORLD
