Development Perspectives host Barlow workshop
DROGHEDA based NGO, Development Perspectives will host a workshop covering Global Goal 4: Quality Education in Barlow House, Narrow West Street, Drogheda on Tuesday 16th January at 7pm.
The workshop will provide participants with an introduction to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal 4: Quality Education. This goal is particularly relevant to the work of Development Perspectives which centre around Global Citizenship Education.
“Drogheda has a strong community of people that are generous and altruistic, however it is often the negative aspects of our society that have the loudest voice. Our workshops offer an opportunity to become involved in a network of people who want to create a more open and inclusive community along with a space to discuss what that is. Global Citizenship Education is key to this.” - Stephanie Kirwan, coordinator of the #SDGchallenge, Millmount Abbey, Drogheda, Co. Louth.
