Rosevale house ransacked

A house in the Rosevale estate was broken into on Friday, January 12th between 4.30pm and 8.30pm.

The house was ransacked during the incident but nothing appears to have been taken. Elderly couple struck by car Gardaí in Laytown are investigating after an elderly couple were struck in a hit and run incident at the Sacred Heart Church.

The shocking event happened just before 7pm on Tuesday, January 2nd.

An elderly couple who were crossing the road at the time were both struck by the vehicle.

This would have been a particularly busy stretch of road at the time and gardaí in Laytown are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
