Repair to Cockle Road junction

The road where the Cockle Road intersects with the Balymakenny Road is in a terrible state and needs repair works carried out as a matter of urgency, it was claimed at the January meeting of Drogheda Municipal District.

Councillor Kevin Callan has called on Louth County Council (LCC) to carry out repair works on a small strip of road at the Cockle Road/Balymakenny Road junction.

He said the road leading up to this junction has recently been resurfaced but the junction itself was missed out on and asked that work be carried out to rectify this.
