Oesophageal Cancer Lollipop Day
Dear Sir,
The Oesophageal Cancer Fund (OCF) needs your help this February.
For the 17th annual Lollipop Day, the OCF is calling for volunteers in Louth on Friday, 23rd and Saturday, 24th of February to help raise vital funds for oesophageal cancer.
Lollipop Day involves thousands of people selling lollipops (€2) nationwide, in an effort to raise vital funds for the Oesophageal Cancer Fund. Without the generosity and support from volunteers, the OCF would not be able to provide the vital role it does in terms of awareness, research and better outcomes for patients and their families with this cancer in Ireland.
If you have a few hours to spare on Friday, 23rd and Saturday 24th of February, pop down on your own or with friends, have some fun and help the OCF.
For more information on Lollipop Day; to volunteer, to make a donation, go to www. lollipopday.ie or to volunteer in Louth call Anne on 086 454 2713.

Established in 2001, our organisation receives no HSE or state funding of any kind and is wholly reliant on fundraising income and therefore, no top-up payments of any kind occur.
Our fundraising money is used exclusively for research and raising awareness for oesophageal cancer. All of our Trustees and Scientific Board members work on a voluntary basis and receive no fees or remuneration for their involvement with the OCF.
We would like to thank all our supporters, volunteers and staff for their on-going work with us. Without the generosity and support from all of you, we would not be able to provide the vital role that OCF does in terms of awareness, research and better outcomes for patients and their families with this cancer in Ireland. Yours, The Oesophageal Cancer Fund
