Four local burglaries

GARDAÍ in Drogheda are investigat­ing after burglaries at four local properties this week.

The first incident happened on the night of Tuesday, January 16th between 9.30pm that evening and 6am the following morning when a shed

Cedarfield was broken into and tools were stolen.

On Thursday, January 18th a house in Finian’s Park was broken into sometime between 1am and 8.30am. Nothing was taken but the house was ransacked and approximat­ely €300 worth of damage was caused. On the same night, between 1am and 7pm, the house next door in Finian’s Park was also broken into and the keys of a 141 Peugeot car was stolen. It was recovered later that day at Marleys Court. A house in Curlew Street, Aston Village was broken into on the 19th but nothing was taken.
