THE Drogheda schoolboy pocketed a unique double during 2017 after claiming the European and World Junior Pool titles.

European success came in March and the 17-year-old St Oliver’s CC student then moved on to Blackpool during the summer where he fought back from three frames down to knock out the favourite from Australia in the quarter-finals. He eventually landed the World crown as well as helping Ireland capture the coveted team title.
