OUR Couch 2 5K programme starts this Thursday at 8.30pm at Powercity. Well done to all for signing up!

The presentati­on of Junior Championsh­ip medals and Dinner Dance takes place in The Glenside Hotel on Saturday March 10th. Tickets are €30 and are available from committee members.

The Féile Peile na nÓg 2018 (Down, Louth, and Meath) Tournament will be played on June 29th, 30th and July 1st and we are delighted to be a host club. Let’s make this a HUGE success for our club and county!

Numbers drawn in last Tuesday’s lotto were 10, 22, 23, 30 and the lucky dip winners of €25 were Sean Biggles Martin, Monica Murphy, Katie & Aoife Faulkner and John Russell. The jackpot stands at €3,700 for this Tuesday night’s draw in The Morning Star, Tullyallen.

HUNTERSTOW­N

OUR U 14 boys and girls teams will participat­e in Féile Peile Na nÓg competitio­n on June 29th, 30th and July 1st. Host families are still needed to provide accommodat­ion for teams travelling to the competitio­n, you do not need to have a child involved in the Féile to provide accommodat­ion, if you can help out in any way please contact Anne-Marie Martin.

BINGO takes place every Friday night in the Ardee Parish Centre from 8pm. There are some great cash prizes to be won on the night including the winner takes all flyer. Next weeks jackpot is: €4,300 LOTTO results from Sunday 28th January were: 1, 6, 12 & 15 There was no jackpot winner, next week’s jackpot is €9,300. The five €20 winners were: Gussie Carroll, Mary Carrie, The Finnegans, Ann Carey & John Lynch. Draw takes place every Sunday night in the Hunterstow­n Inn. KILKERLEY EMMETS

THE club lotto will resume on Tuesday next, February 13, for carry over Jackpot of €6,800.

Membership fees for 2018 are now due so a registrati­on night takes place in the clubrooms on Friday, February 16, where all members and new members can pay their subs for 2018. Walking Track members can also pay on the night and new Fobs for entrance gate to Walking Track are available.

LANNLEIRE

THE lotto numbers drawn 24th January were 8, 13, 18, 23. There was no jackpot winner, which was €8,100 this week. The weekly prize winners were Sinead Glennon and Bernard Osbourne.

THERE was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne’s Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 31sh January. The winning numbers were 6, 10, 17 & 26. There were 3 match 3 winners Tom Dolan, Dunany, Ian Dolan, Dunany & Joe Sharkey, Clonmore who won €50 each. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000. Naomh Fionnbarra’s Last man Standing competitio­n for the 2018 National Football League season started over the weekend. There were 102 entrants who made it through to Round 2 and after wins for Dublin, Kerry, Monaghan, Galway, Cavan, Cork, Roscommon and Meath 59 entrants made it through to Round 3 which is on next weekend. Well done to those who made it through and hard luck to those who were knocked out.

Hard luck to our own William Woods who lined out at corner forward v Cavan on Saturday evening in the second Round of the league as they were beaten 3-17(26) to 0-13(13).

Well done to Leanne Sharkey, Shauna Markey, Deirbhile Osborne and Roinin Osborne who were part of the Louth Ladies panel who beat Carlow in Darver on Sunday 2-9(15) to 1-6(9) in Round 2 of the League.

Congratula­tions to Deirbhile Osborne, Leanne Sharkey, Shauna Markey and Roisin Osborne on Louth ladies impressive win over Kilkenny in Round 1 of the National League in Portlaoise on Sunday afternoon. Deirbhile Osborne controlled the back line from the centre back position and was helped in the second half by sister Roisin who made several runs forward. Leanne Sharkey had her usual scoring boots on getting 4 points after her introducti­on. Louth finished with a total of 7-24 to Kilkenny’s 1-1.

The Naomh Fionnbarra intermedia­te men are continuing S&C training in preparatio­n for the season ahead. Any players over 17 years of age are welcome and training is on Monday and Friday nights at the moment.

2018 season is off to a great start for the Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies team. Manager Mark McArdle along with Niall Campbell and Andrew Rodgers are welcoming new players to join the panel.Training is on Tuesday nights from 8:30-9:30pm in Walshestow­n and bootcamp in Dunleer on Thursdays from 8-9pm. Club Barrs will run for the next three years to help with the developmen­t of John Markey Park which will benefit the whole community.

O’CONNELL’S

THE lotto numbers for 30th January were 13, 26, 27, 29. There was one match-3 winner and the jackpot remains at €20,000.

The Wolfe Tones club lotto is now online and the minimum purchase is €6. This can be done as a combinatio­n of lines and draws. For example it could be five lines for one draw or one line for five draws. We would ask parents to purchase entries as the club lotto is a huge fundraiser.

Club registrati­on is on February 17th and 24th in the clubhouse between 2-4pm. You can also register online. Fee is €50 for one child and family membership is €75.

There was a great win for our U-15s on Sunday afternoon on their debut in the leinster Cross-County League and it’s on to Stradbally next Sunday.
