WHIST DRIVES

Top score last week was won by Bernadette McGough. Top gent was a tie with Anto Grendon & Peggy O’Brien and top lady was Kathleen Grendon. The first half winner was Frances Meade and the second half winner was Pat McGovern. Whist drives continues each Monday night in Bennetts at 8p.m. All welcome.

The Calligraphy and craft classes continue each Wednesday for six weeks in Bennett’s, names to be given to a Guild member. Another upcoming event is a ceili to be held in An Grianan on Sunday 28th January and many members are all set to take part in this. The senior citizens party has been arranged for Sunday 8th April in the Glenside hotel.

CRAIC & CEOIL

Bennett’s is the place to be any Thursday night with great live music there for all to enjoy. Musicians and singers are welcome any night to perform. Starting time is 9.30p.m. So, get there early. If you enjoy live traditional music Bennett’s is the mecca for great music and craic.
