Le Cheile school students prove how fit they are on television

-

LE Cheile in Mornington were delighted to be part of the “Operation Transformation” TV show recently.

A group of children from third and fourth class travelled to Malahide Rugby Club to record an exercise video.

‘ The concept of 10@10 is that children and teachers are being encouraged to exercise for ten minutes at ten o’clock each day, in or out of the classroom. We partook in this last year in school and it was much enjoyed by all, with the well documented positive outcomes. Only six schools from around the country were asked to get involved for the video recordings this year, so, we feel very lucky to have been asked,’ principal Fiona Rock stated.

The recording was televised on RTE Junior on Monday January 29th at 10 a.m. If you missed it, you can catch up on the RTE player.

It also got a mention or two on the adult version “Operation Transformation”.

‘So, have a look at our budding stars, who really did us proud!,’ Fiona added.
