THE ninth annual Valentines Ball in aid of the Drogheda ABACAS School for Children with Autism and Louth and Meath Autism Support Youth Clubs will take place in the Westcourt Hotel, Drogheda on Saturday 24th February 2018.

This is a spectacular event which sells out every year and is a major event in the social calendar. All funds raised support the Drogheda ABACAS School for Children with Autism and Complex Needs and the Louth/Meath Autism Support weekly youth clubs for children, teenagers and young adults with Autism or Asperger Syndrome.

The Ball promises to be a glittering affair with champagne reception, dinner, raffle, dancing and a DJ. ‘It is a very glamorous, exciting and enjoyable event and we always have a few surprises for our guests,’ said Jacinta Walsh from ABACAS. Tickets for the event cost €75 each or a table of 10 for €750 and the MC for the evening will be Gerry Kelly with music provided by 2morrows Party

There are also have many sponsor opportunities available.

‘In particular this year we are hoping to raise funds to replace our current little minibus which is used by the school and by the youth clubs in the evening and weekends,’ said Jacinta. ‘Having the ability to bring the children out and about is excellent for their community integration skills and also provides a much need respite break for parents.’
