Cleaning the ‘no dumping’ sign might help a little
HAVE you been in the Mell car park recently. What a mess!
Around Christmas time, a huge amount of clothes were dumped around the car park. And they are still there. But right beside the mess is a no dumping sign but it’s covered in a green slime and you can’t read it.
It probably wouldn’t make much difference to those dumping, but still, it should be readable.
Cllr Richie Culhane made an excellent point at a recent policing committee meeting that covert CCTV should be placed in various places to catch the dumpers.
Great idea.
