Sheer bliss for schoolgirl Lily

ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD Tenure schoolgirl Lily Sheeran picked up four wins in a row to be crowned champion in the open weight category at the North v South Open Karate Championships in Belfast.

Her latest success means the Tenure schoolgirl currently holds four titles, the others being ONAKAI National, IKKU National and IKKU Open, and she is now looking forward to defending her IKKU Open championship in Tallaght on February 24th.

Lily fights out of IKKU Navan which is run by Ronan and Jennifer Collins and also trains in Dublin with Paul Brennan (IKKU senior coach and ONAKAI Ladies National team coach) and a variety of other highly skilled IKKU coaches.
