Duleek Womens Forum are running a Coffee Morning and Bring and Buy Sale on Tuesday morning 27th of March at 10.30am in Duleek Courthouse. There will also be a raffle on the day with 1st prize of an Easter Egg Hamper along with several other prizes.

MOTHER’S DAY TRIP

Duleek Women’s Forum are running a trip to the Glenview Hotel and Leisure Centre in Wicklow and a day trip to Wicklow Jail . Leaving on Sunday 11th of March and returning Monday 12th of March. Enquiries to Ann on 9823415.

Duleek Tidy Town’s church gate collection takes place outside St Cianans Church on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of February. Your support would be greatly appreciate­d.

There will be a talk on “Staying Young as we Age “on Tuesday 20th February at 10.30am in Duleek Library. All welcome.

VALENTINE’S DAY COFFEE MORNING

A Coffee Morning takes place on Valentines Day/Ash Wednesday 14th of February from 11.30 am to 12.30am in Duleek Courthouse. Hosted by members of The Hub Training Unit. It is in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation and the Think Pink campaign. Please wear a touch of pink and donate 2euro.

PUBLIC ACCESS DEFIBRILLA­TOR

There is a defibrilla­tor now located at the front door beside the Meath County Council offices on Main Street in Duleek (A92 R9KW – opposite the church). To access the AED phone 999/112 and they will give you the combinatio­n code for the lock which is located at the bottom of the cabinet. This public access defibrilla­tor has been funded by Meath PPN and Duleek Cardiac First Reponse Group and installed by Meath County Council.

DULEEK CREDIT UNION QUIZ

Congratula­tions to all the students who took part in this years Credit Union Quiz, which was held in Duleek Girls National School.

Thanks go to the Credit Union Board and a special thanks to quizmaster Anne McDonnell. Results Category A; 1st place Duleek Girls NS, 2nd place Donore NS. Catogery B and overall cup winners; 1st Duleek Boys NS, 2nd Donore NS. Well done to all schools which took part.

GAELIC CLUB REGISTRATI­ON

Gaelic Club Registrati­on for all age groups will take place in the Clubhouse on Saturday 24th of February from 10am to 2pm. Everyone welcome.

IRISH CANCER SOCIETY

The Irish Cancer Society operates a free transport service for patients attending hospital for chemothera­py treatment. Volunteer Drivers pick the patient up at the door of their home, drop them at the hospital door, then when finished treatment, will pick them up and drop them home.

Volunteer expenses are paid. Patients wishing to avail of this free service should contact their healthcare profession­al, visit the Society’s website at irishcance­r.ie or contact the Irish Cancer Society for more informatio­n on 01 2310 522.
