BRIDGE STRIKE.

Motorists should exercise caution following the recent damage to the bridge in Termonfeckin. There is a hole in the bridge wall and extensive damage to the bridge parapet due to a car hitting it and it will need repairs. A safety cordon has been placed around the damaged area resulting in a slightly narrower passage across the bridge when traffic is crossing in both directions. A traffic light on the opposite side of the bridge was also hit but has since been straightened and is working. Hopefully repairs will happen soon but does the area now need further traffic calming measures to prevent further such incidents?
