DEATH OF MAL REILLY
Last week Dunleer and surrounding areas were rocked by the passing of Mal Reilly.
Mal originally from Drogheda but very much intertwined into the heart of our community passed away following an illness.
Over the years Mal has done trojan work in fundraising for and promoting better services for those with Cystic Fibrosis.
I didn’t realise Mal himself had CF until 2010 when he Launch a Cd in aid of the local Cystic Fibrosis Ireland Branch in the Westcourt. Mal was very well known working in the Post office, he was always just so friendly and supportive of everything going on around him. He was a very talented musician who was the only man I knew who could sing Garth Brooks covers better than the man himself. He will be greatly missed.
Condolances to Martha, Charlie and Tara. Mals parents, family, relatives, friends, and colleagues. May he rest in peace.
