New council offices

Councillor Frank Godfrey asked for an update on the €12m new council offices for Fair Street at the meeting.

‘It seems to be going back and forth with consultants and consultants but nothing seems to be happening,’ he said.

‘It has to be at least seven years since the fire.’

Senior Engineer Pat Finn said works on the council offices are progressing but added it will be some time before it goes out to tender.
