From Bellewstow­n to Seapoint, local golf clubs have a lot to offer tourists

FÁILTE Ireland’s annual golf promotion night took place in the Europa Hotel, Belfast, with over 40 exhibitors from the finest golf courses throughout Ireland showcased the quality and value of Irish golf to consumers in Northern Ireland.

Exhibitors from Louth included Ballymasca­nlon Hotel and Seapoint Golf Club.

Meath were also well represente­d with Bellewstow­n GC and Laytown/Bettystown GC featured.

The event, which has become a key date in Northern Ireland’s golfing calendar was attended by 370 keen golfers, including members of local golf societies and golf clubs, who, as well as finding out what Ireland’s golf scene has to offer, enjoyed detailed briefings, networking opportunit­ies, a golf simulator and some fantastic spot prizes.

Ireland boasts over 400 golf courses and hosts over 190,000 golf tourists each year.
