St Mary’s fundraiser

A MAJOR fundraising campaign has been launched in a bid to raise up to €200,000 to save the roof of St Mary’s church on James Street.

First up is a fundraising concert featuring the Drogheda Male Voice Choir & David Leddy along with Amie Dyer and the Drogheda Boys Choir. Alison Comyn is the compere. It takes place on Friday 9th March in St Mary’s Church at 8.00pm, Tickets are €15.00.

They have also organised a Golf Classic on the 27th April 2018 in Laytown/Bettystown Golf Club.

The Lourdes Brass Band awarded its January Student of the Month Awards and latest winners are: Niamh Lambe - January Student of the month, Killian Coleman - January best student in class, Kyle Mulready - January best Student in Class.
