LOUTH manager Philip O’Brien cut a frustrated figure after seeing his side draw with Warwickshire in a game he felt was there for the taking. O’Brien blamed poor finishing for his side’s failure to beat the thirteen men of Warwickshire and admitted he was disappointed that Louth didn’t capitalise on those two red cards for the opposition.
‘Warwickshire were an unbeaten side coming into today and they probably would have fancied their chances against us if truth be told. A lot of people wouldn’t particularly rate Louth hurling and I think they felt confident coming to Darver to play us today,’ explained Philip.
‘The way the game panned out though I’d have to say that I’m disappointed and I think we left a point out there today.
‘I thought we were the better team but unfortunately we didn’t take our chances when we got them and that was the difference between winning and drawing at the end of the day.
‘We missed a few handy frees
