Lights for Piltown

THE NEED for lighting of some descriptiom at the Piltown Cross on the Dublin Road has again been raised by Cllr Eimear Ferguson.

As part of the road programme for 2018, Cllr Ferguson asked that something be done to help the situation.

She said that it was hard for people turning onto the road to see anything.

It is not the first time that she raised the matter.

Des Foley from Meath CC - addressing last week’s area meeting - said they were rolling out a new public lighting scheme and that the Piltown junction could be put on the list for consideration.
