Council in need of your views for cultural and creative plan

-

LOUTH County Council’s Culture team is seeking your views to inform the development of a Cultural and Creative Strategy for County Louth as part of the National Creative Ireland Programme. This strategy will plan for the development of culture and creativity in the county for the next five years.

‘Following on from Louth’s Creative Ireland Plan for 2017 we are delighted to now focus on the development of a Creative and Cultural Strategy for Louth which will run from 2018 to 2022, and to begin planning services and supports to enable creativity to flourish in our county. We welcome the views of interested citizens, including our children and young people, to inform our planning process,’ Brian Harten, Arts Officer for County Louth stated.

In order to ensure to deliver a workable strategy the Culture Team has developed a short survey which is available online at www.louthcoco.ie. The survey will remain open for your responses until Friday 2nd March. A hardcopy of the survey will also be available at your local library.
