DUMPING.

Illegal Dumping and general abandonment of litter is a blight on the Irish landscape and continues to increase at an alarming rate. Sadly our own Parish does not escape the action of litter louts and it is just not acceptable. It undermines a lot of the hard work undertaken to keep our village and townlands clean and tidy. Walking the roads just highlights how bad it is though one wonders what can be done to stop it. Can hidden cameras be installed at various locations or is there a need for further measures? Hopefully something can be done to eliminate this scourge with those responsible being severely prosecuted. Shame on you filthy individuals.
