Let’s Talk on March 22

THE final meeting of Let’s Talk Drogheda takes place on March 22 in the Barbican, with the following issues up for discussion – drugs, proposed Methadone clinic, floodlighting of bridges, Back Strand, painting local bridges, the Buttergate, Drogheda Town Walls, river bank walls, filter junction for Kierans’ Corner, crime & burglaries, roads & potholes, seagulls, Ship Street.

At these meetings the public has a chance to air their views, it’s a public platform, a public forum where issues are raised and addressed, then followed up with the Local Authority. People can make their voices heard. The first two meetings were very positive and welcomed by local people. Yours, Cllr Frank Godfrey.
