RESULTS from the Women’s Internatio­nal Day 15-hole stableford played last Thursday and Saturday:

MACBRIDE P&P

MACBRIDE Pitch & Putt Club would like to extend condolence­s to the families of two of our neighbours and friends in Weirhope - the Smith family on the passing of Jacko, and the Cassidy family on the passing of Con. May they Rest In Peace.

As a mark of respect there was no play at the MacBride club last weekend. Week five of the Winter League was postponed and will take place next Sunday and Monday and will be an 18 nett competitio­n.

There was no winner of the jackpot in the most recent club lotto, which was held on the Tuesday before last. The winning numbers were 3, 5, 9 & 28 and the lucky dip winners were Brendan Walker, Niamh Connolly and Peter & Mavis.

The next draw will take place tonight (Tuesday) with a jackpot prize of €2,900. Thank you for your continued support.

LAST weekend our two captains for 2018, Joanne and Paul Cooney, held their pitch-in, with the help of their daughter Sarah. It was a very successful day and we would like to thank everyone for attending.

This week will be an 18 gross - times of play Friday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 9.30am. There will also be a fourball v par on Bank Holiday Monday at 2pm.

Seapoint Pitch and Putt Club are proud to be hosts of the Internatio­nal Irish Open Championsh­ip, which is scheduled to be held on August 25th and 26th.
