Time ticking for the CF race day around Duleek

-

THERE is just seven weeeks left to one of the biggest events of the year for those raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis - the 10K Remembrance Run in Duleek.

The aim of the Run is to remember and celebrate the lives of all the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) loved ones and to increase public awareness about CF. It’s also the aim to raise funds for the local Drogheda Branch.

‘We want to thank all who have registered to date and for those who would like to there is still plenty of time. We are delighted with the response and greatly appreciate the support from family and friends and all the local clubs and communities,’ one of the organising team, Ann Noone, stated.

There will be music on route , burgers , refreshments , tea / coffee, water Stations and toilet facilities.

‘We promise you will not be disappointed. All walkers, Joggers and runners welcome. New Technical Running 2018 T-Shirt for the first 300 registered and we have a clock for self-timing and a very important medal at the finish line.

‘We will not lie, it is a challenge , but nothing to compare to the hurdles that young people with Cystic Fibrosis (pwcf ) face every single day.’
