Kay’s gloves

-

August 1986

A Drogheda woman who exhibited a pair of Irish crochet gloves at the Royal Dublin Society’s Crafts Competition in the R.D.S. has been thrilled to learn that her handcraft has been deemed “fit for a King.” The King is Jane, wife of Northern Ireland Secretary, Mr. Tom King. The beautiful pair of white crocheted gloves with rose and leaves featured on the back, which were designed and made by Mrs. Kay Harding of Roughgrange, Donore, caught her admiration. The gloves were presented to her.
