Why three No.9s in Ardee’s Sliabh Breagh estate ?

In the course of criticism oi the Sliabh Breagh housing scheme which was described by Mr. James Markey at Tuesday’s meeting of Ardee Town Commissioners as “a disgrace to the Co. Council,” Mr. J. McKenna said that the postmen were put to a lot of bother as there were three houses with the No. 1 and three with No. 9.

Mr. Markey added that the scheme should be finished properly and would like an assurance from the County Manager that it would be completed as it should be, with footpath railings, shrubs and so forth. The Town Clerk was instructed to write to the Council.
