TREE PLANTING

Trees were planted at Doe Bridge, Hurcle on Sunday 11th March last to mark National Tree Week. Three of the Districts most senior Residents, Boyle Simpson, Hurcle, Moira Loughran, Glassallen Cross, and Moira Sarsfield, formerly Starinagh were invited to plant the trees. They were assisted by Family Members in the planting of a Larch and two Rowan trees. Trees are planted during National Tree Week annually, in memory of those who passed away during the previous year. The large gathering in attendance enjoyed the best of weather, and all returned to Teach Raithneach for light refreshments. Well done to all involved.
