DIGITAL SKILLS COURSE

WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES

Application forms are available, in the star of the sea church Mornington, to fill in if one would like to attend the world meeting of families. One needs to fill in a registration form to get a ticket(s). Tickets are €40 each. This excludes the bus fare. Families can attend the Meath diocesan day on August 22nd (2018); also, the festival of families in Croke Park on August 25th and final Mass in the Phoenix Park on August 26th. Forms are available in the church. Tickets are subject to availability.

CONGRATS TO JOHN WEIR

Congratulations to John Weir who has become the new principal of St Mary’s parish primary school. He has been the vice Principal of the school since it opened in 2012. John has massive experience having plied his trade over two continents. He was principal at Congress Avenue before the joining up of Congress boys and Fatima girls national school. He worked in Japan for eight years, two years in Rome teaching in international schools, he then took up a position in Castleknock in Dublin for a number of years. He moved nearer to home in the Eighties when he took up a position in Julianstown N.S. Well done John, no better man.

ALZHEIMERS GOLF CLASSIC

This classic will take place on Laytown & Bettystown golf course on Friday may 18th.

The entrance fee per four-person team is €160.00 Tee times before 11 am includes free breakfast. Registration is now available with Veronica Reilly at 086 6025043

The Drogheda Alzheimers branch are in the midst of an intensive fund-raising drive to help provide a new day care centre for the town. A full-time sheet will lessen the burden on these very committed people. Please Support.
