Two jobs that need attention
TWO tasks in need of attention focus on the Ballymakenny Road, one of the busiest stretches of road in the town.
An area, just at the junction with Crushrod Avenue, has been eaten away, to such an extent that it is now in a dangerous state.
Huge holes have appeared and they are unavoidable.
Then, just a little further on, the famed Ballymakenny roundabout, has almost disappeared.
It needs a good coat of white paint to increase road safety at the junction.
I also think something needs to be done here with crossing points.
All too often people end up halfway across the road and are depending on drivers to stop coming off the roundabout and that’s not the safest thing to do either.
A few flashing poles required perhaps!
