Mr Keenan wins award for Greenhills
TONY Keenan of Our Lady’s College in Drogheda, Co Louth was recognised for his contribution to student wellbeing at the National Teacher of the Year Awards.
He was honoured at a ceremony, held at Trinity College Dublin, which celebrates outstanding contributions by second-level teachers who go “beyond the classroom to establish a lasting impact in their students’ lives”.
A native of Ballybeg, County Monaghan, Tony has been teaching English at Our Lady’s College, Greenhills for over a decade.
He is involved in the Mental Health week in the school each year which proves a great success.
